Every year, Alopecia UK brings together hundreds of children, young people, and families affected by alopecia for a special day at Alton Towers.

For many, it’s far more than a theme park visit — it’s a day of confidence, connection, and joy. It’s often the first time they’ve met others who truly understand what they’re going through, and the experience can be life-changing.

Our 2026 Appeal

We’re aiming to raise £5,500 to help us cover the costs associated with this well-loved event — and we’re inviting businesses and supporters to help make it happen.

Each year, between 270-300 people come together for this unforgettable day, supported by our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of donors and sponsors like you.

A key part of your support goes towards providing free tickets for children with alopecia, the hiring of our 'base' for our much-loved lunchtime meet-up, ensuring our volunteer travel costs are covered and much more. Your contribution makes this life-changing experience more accessible to those who need it.

Make a Donation (up to £500)

If your business would prefer to make a straightforward charitable donation of up to £500, your gift will directly support the event, including free tickets for children with alopecia.

How? Donations can be made quickly and easily through our website by clicking the pink donate button on the right hand side of your screen. You’ll receive an email from us as an acknowledgement and thanks for your contribution towards our event. Because no promotional benefit is received, donations can usually be treated as charitable gifts for tax purposes.

Become an Official Event Sponsor (Over £500)

For businesses that are able to contribute even more, sponsorship is a wonderful way to play a more visible role in bringing this special day to life. By contributing over £500, your business can become an official Event Sponsor.
