About the event

Join us for a relaxed social evening in the heart of Manchester, designed especially for adults living with alopecia and their loved ones.

This is a friendly, low-pressure get-together where you can meet others who truly understand the experience of living with hair loss. Whether you come with family, friends or on your own, you’ll find a welcoming space to chat, connect, or simply enjoy a night out in good company.

Tickets are £20 per person. This includes entry and a light buffet. This price contributes towards the costs of the event. Alopecia UK is pleased and proud to be able to financially support this social event. 

If you have the means and can contribute more towards the full cost, we would graciously welcome your support. Any contribution, however small, would mean that we can continue to provide support to people affected by alopecia and have more events like this in the future. You can contribute more by adding an optional donation during checkout.

We have a limited number of tickets available, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Ticket sales for this event will close on Friday, the 26th of June at 9.00 am.

• ... and for the football fans - we'll have the World Cup match showing too!

Venue

We’ll be hosting the evening in a private function room at a pub in the Deansgate area of Manchester.

The space offers a comfortable, informal setting where you can enjoy both conversation and a relaxed atmosphere.

Food & drink

A light buffet will be provided during the evening. We will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements, but this will depend on what the venue can provide.

Drinks will need to be purchased separately from the bar.

Who can attend

• Adults aged 18+ living with alopecia
• Partners, friends, or loved ones are welcome (each attendee requires a ticket)

The venue is located in the Deansgate area of Manchester, with excellent transport links:

• Close to major train and tram routes within Manchester city centre
• Multiple bus connections nearby
• Several public car parks within walking distance

Full venue details will be shared with ticket holders ahead of the event.

Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the Terms and Conditions listed below.

• No physical ticket will be issued. Your name(s) will be added to our guest list. You will be asked for your name on arrival. 
• If you choose to cancel, no refund will be provided. If you can find someone else with alopecia who wishes to take your place, please email us ([email protected]) with details of the substitution so we can ensure our guest list is up to date. 
• A full refund will be provided if Alopecia UK cancels the event due to reasons within our control.  
• In the event that Alopecia UK has to cancel the event due to reasons beyond its control such as adverse weather conditions or major incidents, no refunds will be provided. 
• Alopecia UK does not accept responsibility for attendees’ personal belongings or valuables. These remain the responsibility of the individual attendees.
• Alopecia UK cannot guarantee to meet all dietary requirements. It will work with the venue to try to accommodate any requests but this will depend on the options made available to us by the venue. 
• By purchasing a place at our social you confirm you are at least 18 years of age. The venue operates a 'Think 25' policy. If you wish to purchase an alcoholic beverage, you may be asked to provide your ID. 
• Should you choose to purchase and consume alcohol at this event please note that you should do this in a responsible way and Alopecia UK take no responsibility for ensuring you get home safely.  You are responsible for your own safety and behaviour.
• Alopecia UK reserves the right to remove any attendee from the social should their behaviour be deemed inappropriate, including drinking to excess. In such an event, no refund will be provided.
