I'll be running in this years Great North Run and raising money for Alopecia UK.

Our daughter Lena began losing her hair in September 2023 through to February 2024. During this period we were very distressed and confused why this suddenly started to happen to her. Alopecia is such an unpredictable condition with little to no treatment available, especially children of our daughters age as she was two and a half at the time of her first hair shedding.

Alopecia UK were extremely helpful with giving us support in those first few weeks when we felt overwhelmed and helpless. Marjorie Joyce
