When Alopecia came into my life it consequently came into my family & friends lives too.

We all rode many a wave in the early days but came to a place where my alopecia stands by my side not in my way.

After being diagnosed with Alopecia Areata in 2012 it gradually developed into Totalis and eventually Universalis. This drastically changed my appearance and visual identity as I and those around me knew it.

Discovering Alopecia UK & in turn meeting with other people was a game changer.

As a volunteer for Alopecia UK I continue to see & assist with the valuable work this small national charity achieves.

Alopecia UK is working to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia. The charity's primary focus is on Support, Awareness and Research.

Alopecia UK relies on the support of fundraisers and donors to continue the fantastic work it does.
