Owen has had alopecia since he was 16 months old, and growing up looking visibly different from the other kids around him meant that he was faced with different challenges such as bullying and self esteem issues. 

He came across Alopecia UK when he was 14 allowing him to meet other people with the same condition as him which did wonders for his self confidence.

Now at 20 years old Owen and his girlfriend Buffy are running the Worcester half marathon to raise money so other kids can have the same opportunities as him.
