The mission of Alopecia UK is to provide support, community, and education to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia.

Their work and inclusive spirit has truly helped my through my alopecia journey; one of emotional struggle with a constant daily reminder that your appearance is ever-changing, morphing slowly (in my case) in to one that is lesser accepted or understood by society.

The charity create a wonderful sense of belonging, support sufferers when others perhaps can't. I hugely treasure their network and look forward to sharing in the Big Weekend in Birmingham once again this September to celebrate their 20 years of dedication, amongst the most inspirational and beautiful humans; those forced to accept that beauty is more than skin deep.

I'd love for you to sponsor my 200,000 steps in September; it'll be a juggle to squeeze this in to the ever increasing schedule of family life but where there is a will there is a way!!
