Jessica (my cousin, once removed) was first affected with alopecia when she 6. Since then, I've seen the amazing things Alopecia UK do to support her and many others through education, community, and a place where they truly feel understood. Through Alopecia UK Jessica now feels confident living beautiful and bald.

Alopecia can have a huge emotional and psychological impact, and Alopecia UK provides vital support to help people feel less alone. They offer impartial information, online and in-person peer support, raise awareness, and fund important research into the causes of alopecia and potential treatments.

On 30th August 2026 I will be running the Sydney Marathon. I am using this opportunity to support Alopecia UK, and the families of those affected. As a small charity, they rely heavily on fundraisers like this to continue their important work.

This will be a huge personal challenge, and I’d be incredibly grateful for any donations, big or small. Your support means a lot, both to myself but also Jessica and everyone supported by Alopecia UK.

Thank you,
Greg Greg Richardson
