Alopecia has been part of my life since I was diagnosed with alopecia areata at the age of 12. It’s something that can be incredibly difficult to deal with, especially for children and young people coming to terms with sudden hair loss.

Through this 6-hour endurance go-kart race, I want to raise awareness and funds for Alopecia UK, an organisation that does incredible work in supporting people affected by all types of alopecia. They provide education, community support, and resources that make a real difference in helping people feel less alone.

By fundraising, I hope to support others on the same journey, give back to a cause that has personal meaning, and help ensure more people can access the understanding and encouragement that Alopecia UK provides. Jake Brown
