Hi everyone, I have taken on a challenge to run at The Great North run, a half marathon on September 7th 2025. I have decided to run for Alopecia UK.
I am not a runner in the slightest so this really is a challenge for me!

A little back story, in 2023 I was diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis and had suffered with it for over a year, at the moment I am fortunate enough that my hair has grown back, but I’m still experiencing on and off hair loss and the mental strain that comes with it.
Research is so needed as the cause of this devastating disease is still unknown and there is no cure yet.
I want to be able to raise this money for hair installations, treatments, research, and psychological support for everyone, to increase their mental health, self-esteem, confidence and receive the right care and support that they need.
