Peer Support Groups Peer support is at the heart of everything we do at Alopecia UK. At Alopecia UK, we believe that peer support can be life-changing. Connecting with others who understand what it’s like to live with alopecia can provide comfort, guidance, and a sense of community. Whether you’re looking for advice, someone to share your experience with, or simply the opportunity to chat, our peer support options are here to help. This page highlights some of the most popular peer support options for adults affected by alopecia, including local in-person support groups, online groups, and our popular private Facebook groups. If you’re looking for support tailored to children and teens, our Children & Young People (CYP) section offers a range of dedicated resources, including information and advice on living with alopecia, blogs written by young people, and meet-up opportunities. Local Support Groups Alopecia UK has face-to-face support groups across the UK, in cities and towns where we have a volunteer willing to lead a group.
